Wrapping Up a School Year, Getting Serious About 4-H!

I'm counting down the four days of school I have left, and getting serious about my 4-H projects. I've been busy with my studies and sports but they are all wrapped up now. Lately I've been reciting my lines for the skit at State Days to my whole family. I think they've heard more than enough.

I had my first dog class at my new club this past week. It was a lot of fun to get to spend time with many new young members (and their pups). I also recently purchased the materials I need for my sewing project. I'm making my Christmas dance gown. I'm excited to have one of a kind!

A few weeks ago I decided I wasn’t busy enough, and applied at my local King’s Restaurant. I was hired on the spot! My summer is going to be busy, interesting, and fun. I’m so excited I just can’t wait!

Keep checking for more!!

Hello 4-Her's

Well, I'm very excited to tell everyone that I am FINALLY finished with school!! So now that summer is started, I am in full swing with the 4-H “stuff”.

I've been shearing sheep walking pigs and breaking horses.I have also been working on things for State Days (it's going to be LOTS of fun!!)

I really love summer because I can just get out there and have fun!

I hope everyone is doing well and I would like to wish everyone good luck with their projects and can't wait to see everyone at Penn State for State Days!!

Summers coming!!

Hello 4-H’ers,

Summer is soon approaching and that means no school and more time to do 4-H related activities. I am very excited for the summer months along with horse shows and traveling. During the month of May I have done some things for the 4-H world. I have talked to a woman at a local horse show about 4-H and my role as a State Council member. I am also working on an article for my county’s newsletter for the month of June. My council members and I had our first phone conference and it was very different - for me at least. The next couple of months are busy for us as we start to prepare for our next big event: State Achievement Days. Good luck as you prepare for your contest, I hope to see you there!

For now, Good Luck to the seniors graduating this year and also to everyone that is showing animals!

Until Next Time,
